This cabinet has been through prior restorations, with a beautiful Huon Pine top being previously added in the past. A repair has been made to the underside and the inside of the cabinet has been a lined with newer ply at least 15 years ago. The body is original. It has been thoroughly cleaned, sanded and recoated with shellac and hardwax oil to the top, and hardwax oil to the body. This gives the piece resilience and some water protection. This is not a factory-fresh piece - it was likely not even made in a factory - but if you are looking for something with history and soul, go ahead! Minor, age-appropriate marks and dents remain as part of the charm and history of this piece.
